How is bandwidth billed?
You pay only for egress that leaves the Stihost network to end users. Traffic between object storage and our edge is always free — no inter-zone or origin-pull fees.
Is the storage really S3-compatible?
Yes. Our API implements the S3 wire protocol, so the AWS CLI, boto3, aws-sdk, rclone, and any S3 tool work unchanged — just swap the endpoint URL.
Can I bring my own domain and TLS?
Absolutely. Add a CNAME to your distribution and we issue and renew Let's Encrypt certificates automatically, or upload your own.
What happens if I exceed my plan?
We never hard-stop traffic. Overage is billed at the published per-GB rate, and you can set spend alerts and hard caps in the dashboard.
